Who operates this website.

GetByte operates getbyte.tech under the project name GetByte. For privacy questions, corrections or requests about contact correspondence, email contact@getbyte.tech.

Using the builder and checklist.

The messaging builder uses your product, audience, problem and outcome to assemble three editable template outputs in your browser. The nine-step checklist and directory filters also run in your browser. These inputs and outputs are not uploaded to GetByte or sent to an AI provider.

The ordinary website has no user accounts, account database, analytics or advertising trackers. The planned Claude companion is in development; no AI API is connected to these public tools.

Saving on this device is your choice.

The website saves a draft and checklist progress only after you explicitly choose Save on this device. The current draft is named using your product name and includes its product facts and edited outputs. This browser keeps one current draft. Checklist data records the saved progress.

This uses your browser’s local storage. Saved work can be restored in the same browser on the same device, and stays there until removed. It is not synced to another browser or device and is not stored in a GetByte server database.

Use the builder and checklist clear controls to remove saved work. You can also remove this site’s storage through your browser settings. Clearing browser data may erase saved drafts and progress. GetByte cannot recover or remotely remove data stored only on your device.

Anyone with access to that browser may be able to see the saved work. Keep only material you are comfortable storing there, especially on a shared device. Work you have not explicitly saved is not retained by GetByte; your browser may separately restore a tab or form under its own settings.

Copying and exporting.

Copy controls write the selected output to your clipboard when you choose them. Markdown export creates a file for you to keep. These actions do not send a copy to GetByte. Clipboard content, downloaded files and any later sharing are managed by you and the applications you use.

Customer access requests.

The access form uses the email address you enter to prepare a mailto request. It does not authenticate an account, collect a password or send a message from the website.

Open the prepared request in your mail app, review it and send it yourself. The operator receives the address and request only through the email you send. You can write directly to contact@getbyte.tech instead.

Contact correspondence.

When you send an email, your address, message and attachments are handled by the email services used to receive and answer it. GetByte uses correspondence to respond, agree service requirements, deliver agreed materials and keep relevant project records. We do not sell contact correspondence.

Leave out passwords, API keys and unnecessary confidential material. You can ask about, correct or request deletion of correspondence by emailing the contact address. Some records may need to be retained where applicable law requires it.

Website delivery and external links.

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes network requests to deliver and protect the website; request information can include IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and timestamps. Its handling of requests is separate from the drafts saved in your browser.

Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices. Fonts and site assets are served locally from this website; fonts do not require a request to a separate font service.

Product links open independent provider websites with their own cookies, accounts and privacy practices. GetByte does not send your saved drafts, checklist progress or directory search input to those providers.
